Sergei Krasnykh

Stage manager and soloist of the Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater.

A recipient of the Second Prize of the Republican Contest of Chamber Performers in 1985 and of the Third Prize of the Republican Contest of Chamber Performers in 1987

In 1983 he graduated from the Nezhdanova Odessa Conservatory (the Odessa National Academy of Music) specializing in solos singing. In 1984 he joined the Odessa Opera as a n operatic soloist.

The soloist performs the parts of Alfredo in La traviata by Verdi, Paulino  in The Secret Marriage by Cimarosa, Ottavio in Don Giovanni by Mozart, Petro in Natalka-Poltavka, Mykola in Semen Kotko by Prokofiev, Peppe in Pagliacci by Leoncavallo, Emperor in Turandot by Puccini, Chekalinsky and Chaplinsky in the Pique Dame by Tchaikovsky and other parts and numbers.

He has been working also as a stage manager since 2005.


His repertoire includes:

Alfredo ("La Traviata" by Giuseppe Verdi),

Paolino ("The Secret Marriage" by Domenico Chimarosa),

Ottavio ("Don Giovanni" by Wolfgang Mozart),

Peter ("Natalka Poltavka" by Nikolay Lysenko),

Mykola ("Semyon Kolko" by Sergey Prokofiev ),

Peppe ("Pagliacci" by Ruggero Leoncavallo),

Emperor ("Turandot" by Giacomo Puccini)

Chekalinskiy and Chaplitskiy ("The Queen of Spades" by Pyotr Tchaikovskiy) and the other parts.
