There will be two debuts in the ballets “Paquita” and “Walpurgis Night”

Two ballet dancers will first appear as new characters in the one-act ballets “Paquita” and “Walpurgis Night”, which will be held on Saturday, January 18. In the first ballet Danylo Pashchuk will debut in the part of Lucien d’Erville, and in the second one Andrii Pisariev - in the role of Pan.

Danylo Pashchuk is a diploma winner of the international competition “Grand-Prix Kiev” in 2017 and in 2018. He graduated from Kiev State Choreographic School in 2018. Then the artist was invited to join the troupe of Odessa National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet. He performs the parts in the ballets “Swan Lake”, “The Nutcracker” and “The Sleeping Beauty” by Tchaikovsky, “Masquerade” by Khachaturian, etc.

Andrii Pisariev graduated with honours from Choreographic School of Vadym Pisariev in Donetsk, after he studied in Stuttgart (Germany) with a famous master Petro Piestov. He worked as a leading soloist at Donetsk Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet, National Opera of Ukraine in Kyiv, at the Kremlin Ballet in Moscow as well as. In 2017 he was invited to Odessa Opera House. He performs leading roles in the ballets “Don Quixote”, “The Nutcracker”, “The Sleeping Beauty”, “Swan Lake” and others.

The ballets “Paquita” and “Walpurgis Night” will be conducted by the Honoured Artist of Ukraine Ihor Chernetskyi.
