The music by the Czech composer Petr Eben will first sound in Odessa

On November 23, the music by the Czech composer Petr Eben will first be heard in Odessa during an organ concert dedicated to the Holodomor Remembrance Day. These are two plays from “Job” (1987) – “Faith” and “Sacrament of Creation”.

“Petr Eben, who suffered from Nazism, addresses to the primal issues of genesis,” emphasizes the organist and concert programme’s author Olga Efremova.

In the concert on November 23, you will also hear works by Johann Sebastian Bach - Antonio Vivaldi, Eugene Gigout, Tomaso Albinoni and Edward Elgar.

Violinist Maryia Mohylevskaia will take part in the concert.
