Vitalii Liskovetskyi will first sing the part of Calaf in “Turandot”

The tenor Vitalii Liskovetskyi will first appear as Calaf in the opera “Turandot” by Giacomo Puccini. The performance will be held tomorrow, November 16 at 16:00. Three days ago the artist first performed the role of Sotnik in the opera-ballet “Vii” by Vitalii Hubarenko.

Vitalii Liskovetskyi is a laureate and diploma winner of international competitions. He graduated from Lviv National Music Academy named after Mykola Lysenko. He worked as a soloist in the Lviv, Kharkiv and Dnieper operas. In 2019 he was invited to Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. The singer’s repertoire includes more than fifteen opera parts. He toured in Poland, Russia, China, Spain and the UK. In 2016-2018 he continually worked in the theatres of the UK - in Liverpool, Manchester, Edinburgh and Belfast.

On November 16 the main part in “Turandot” will be performed by Nataliia Pavlenko. The other roles: People's Artist of Ukraine Vasyl Navrotskyi (Timur), Yuliia Tereshchuk (Liu), Bohdan Panchenko, Pavlo Smyrnov andAndrii Perfilov(Ping, Pang and Pong), as well as Serhii Krasnykh, Yurii Dudar, Iryna Repetii, Natalia Kadantseva and Mykola Reshetnov with the participation of the choirartists, orchestra and ballet of the theatre.

The performance will be conducted by the chief conductor of the theatre Viacheslav Chernukho-Volich.
