Four ballet artists will debut in “Walpurgis Night”

Tomorrow four ballet dancers will first appear in the performance “Walpurgis Night”. Leading parts of Mephistopheles and Bacchante will be danced by Dmytro Dzenyk and Maryna Stryzhakova. Viktoriia Vorivodina and Ilona Topchyi will fulfill the Nymphs.

Dmytro Dzenyk graduated from Kiev State Choreographic School in 2009. He worked in Academic Opera and Ballet Theatres of Kharkiv and Dnieper. In 2011 he was invited to the ballet troupe of Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Maryna Stryzhakova graduated from Odessa State Culture and Art College named after Kostiantyn Dankevych and International Slavic University (Kyiv). She has been working in the ballet troupe of Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre since 2007. Maryna performs parts in the ballets “The Nutcracker”, “Swan Lake”, “The Sleeping Beauty” by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, “Giselle” by Adolf Adan, “Paquita” by Ludwig Minkus and others.

The performance “Walpurgis Night” by Charles Gounod will be held at the same night as the ballet “Paquita” by Ludwig Minkus. Conductor - Honoured Artist of Ukraine Ihor Chernetskyi.
