Domenico Menini will perform the part of Pinkerton at the premiere of the opera “Madame Butterfly”!

The theatre invited the tenor Domenico Menini to perform the
part of Pinkerton at the premiere of the opera “Madame
Butterfly”!

Domenico Mennini started his musical studies with playing the
guitar, he has an experience as a sound engineer. Domenico
Mennini began his singing career under the direction of
soprano Rafaela Benori at the conservatory in Cesena, Italy. He
improved his vocal technique and operatic repertoire with
tenor William Matteuzzi in Bologna, Italy and in Spain with
Ernesto Palacio, during a seminar at the Theatre de Real
Madrid.

Domenico debuted in 2004 in "Gianni Skicchi" as Rinuccio,
under the direction of Pietro Borgonovo in Trento, Italy, as a
winner of a vocal competition organized by Venice Theatre La
Fenice.

 His repertoire includes:

Duke (Rigoletto by G. Verdi)
Edgardo (Lucia di Lammermoor by G. Donizetti)

Domenico Menini toured with concerts and was invited to participate in operas on the world's leading stages in Italy, Japan, Lebanon, Belarus, Bulgaria, Finland, France, Hungary, Switzerland and Germany.

During a concert at Sibelius Hall in Helsinki he was awarded Beniamino Gigli Price 2012, provided by the B. Gigli Association
of Finland.

In 2014 he received the Pia Tassinari Prix in the Teatro Masina di Faenza, Italy, and also debuted as Pinkerton in “Madame Butterfly” by G. Puccini under the direction of conductor Eddie de Nadai.
