Alexander STRYUK to debut as Tomsky in Pique Dame on June 7

An Odessa Opera soloist Alexander STRYUK debuts in the part of Count Tomsky in opera Pique Dame. The performance takes place at the Odessa Opera on June 7. The artist would perform only Prince Yeletsky in that Pyotr Tchaikovsky's opera before.

A prizewinner of international competitions Alexander STRYUK has more than a dozen parts in the current repertoire of the Odessa Opera. In particular, he has debuted as Figaro in the Barber of Seville by G. Rossini this year and as Enrique Ashton in Lucia di Lammermoor by G. Donizetti. On top of that the singer gave a solo concert called A Gift of Music to Women at the eve of the International Women's Day.

The Pique Dame performance is led by Honored Artist of Ukraine Tetiana SPAS’KA (Countess), Valery BENDEROV (Herman) and a prizewinner of international competitions Anna LITVINOVA (Lisa).
