The Odessa Opera is Touring Spain

Today, on February 21, 2013 The Odessa Opera company is having the first performance in Spain within the framework of the Spring Spanish Tour 2013. Teatro Romea in the Spanish town Murcia is welcoming our singers with Il Barbiero di Sevilla by G. Rossini.

The Odessa Opera is going to visit 26 Spanish towns and cities. The last performance of the Spring Spanish Tour is scheduled on 25 March 2013. More than 80 people are taking part in the Spanish tour including 3 conductors: Principal Conductor Peope’s Artist of Moldova Aleksandru Samoile, Oksana Lyniv and Igor Tchernetsky, The Chorus led by Honored Art Worker of Ukraine Leonid Butenko, the orchestra and a number of soloists including Honored Artist of Ukraine Tetyana Spaska and Sergiy Zuenko, Vladislav Goray, Dmytro Pavlyuk, Sergiy Uzun, Valery Regrut, Ivan Flyak and Olexiy Repchinsky. The Spanish audience will also admire Tosca by G. Puccini and Il Trovatore by G. Verdi.

It has been the third The Odessa Opera tour to Spain within the last 6 months. The Spanish touring company Concerlirica has been arranging the tours.
